I want to make a podcast for and about Mac OS X and iPhone OS software developers. I want to talk to people who make great software so that I can get better at making my own software. The way I see it, if I get to learn from these developers, why shouldn't everyone else benefit?
I want NSPodcast to cover all sorts of topics, from high-level hand-wave-y things like interaction design to down-low, nitty-gritty details like tips for being more productive in Xcode. From MVC to GDB. And I want to talk about these topics within the context of the apps made by the people I interview.
I know my limits. I don't want to bite off more than I can chew. The only things I've thought about so far are the length and format of the show - I was thinking that an episode of the show would be a twenty-ish-minute-long conversation with a Mac or iPhone software developer. That seems reasonable.
Let me know what you think about NSPodcast. I'm currently looking for a co-host, so if you're interested, drop me a line: scottjacksonx → gmail.
